Annick Massis
Annick Massis (born 1 January 1958) is a French soprano.
== Biography ==
She worked as a school teacher before going to study at the Conservatoire Francis Poulenc in Paris. Her stage career began in Toulouse in the early 1990s, where she performed in operas by Mozart as well as playing the role of Leila in Bizet's ''The Pearl Fishers''.
In 1998, she performed the role of Ophelie in Hamlet at the Washington Concert Opera.
In 1999, she took the lead in ''Lucia di Lammermoor'' in Toulouse as well as in Barcelona the next year. She has also sung many bel canto roles. In 2004, she played Violetta in ''La Traviata'' in Pittsburgh. In 2009, Annick Massis sang all four major soprano roles in a production of the Contes d´Hoffmann at the Opéra de Nice.
